We are thrilled to announce the successful passing of the referendum to preserve and expand open spaces in DuPage County. Thank you to all the voters who recognized the importance of protecting our natural lands for current and future generations. Your support will enable us to preserve approximately 250 acres, enhance water quality, improve flood control, and provide children and families with spaces for outdoor activities and nature education. Together, we are making a profound investment in the health, safety, and beauty of our community. This small contribution per homeowner will ensure a lasting legacy of clean air, wildlife habitats, and open spaces. How to Help with the Referendum

You and your family members vote “YES” on November 5.
Talk to your friends, colleagues, and neighbors and ask them to vote YES. Use the talking points on the Why Vote Yes page and STAY ON MESSAGE!
Use the Campaign Toolkit to help spread the word on social media and through postcards and flyers provided. Click on the toolkit button at the side.
Use your social media and email list to spread the word and promote the referendum using the Talking Points. Link to the Forest Preserve District’s website for factual information and to the Campaign’s website for ways people can get involved.
Make a financial contribution to the Campaign. Talk to others to help raise the necessary funds to assure a winning campaign. Donors can include businesses, corporations, individuals, and organizations. Click here to donate.
Contact the Campaign committee to volunteer by calling and texting voters to encourage their support. Invite a representative of the Forest Preserve District or Campaign committee to speak to your civic organization. Contact Us.
